Executive B2B Organization, BCA to hold Eight Signature Events at  Grand Canyon University over next two years

PHOENIX, January 30, 2012 – Grand Canyon University (GCU) has become the exclusive meeting facility of the executive level B2B organization, Business Clubs America (BCA). Business Clubs America and Dynamic Leadership Solutions lead a business development workshop

Joining forces with Rachel Bohl, training expert from Dynamic Leadership Solutions, BCA hosted a workshop to help Members better understand how BCA tools can assist in their business development plans for 2011.

Among the topics discussed were Customer Relationship Management Tools, Using Seminars to Promote Your Company,  and How to Create Better Referral Relationships.

BCA also collected Member feedback on suggested topics for future seminars.  There was an overwhelming plea to host seminars on social media management, CRM how-to, CRM mobile syncing, and Linked-In tutorials.

Lyn St. James shares her journey through life on race track

Business Clubs America – Metro Phoenix welcomed Lyn St. James, race car legend and author of “Ride of Your Life” at the November Signature Event hosted by Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix.

Our morning began with a networking hour, where Business Clubs America Members introduced their invited guests to other Members in attendance. 

As host of the event, Brad Kuluris, COO of Boys and Girls Clubs of Metro Phoenix, shared with the audience about the foundation’s long history and future mission.  Then our emcee for the morning, Patrick Gallagher from Member Clear Channel Radio, introduced Lyn St. James.

Ewa Mataya Laurance dazzles Members and Guests

On September 28th, Commercial Real Estate Member GPE Companies hosted our Business Clubs America Signature Event, featuring Ewa Mataya Laurance “The Striking Viking”.

Horizon Moving Systems Announces new GM

Welcome Tim Barber to the Horizon team!

Tim Barber joined Horizon Moving Systems as General Manager of the Phoenix, Flagstaff and Yuma operations in 2010. Prior to joining the Horizon team, Tim has held various Executive leadership positions across multiple industries.  His previous 20 years of experience in transportation, operations, logistics, sales and customer service includes; 4 years in various management positions with ORCO Construction Supply, handling 18 retail locations across the three states of California, Nevada and Arizona; 14 years in various management positions with Federal Express, the world’s largest transportation and logistics-services company, handling multiple locations servicing several high volume customers such as Hewlett Packard and Sun Micro-Systems. While at ORCO and Federal Express he gained extensive experience in distribution, sales, marketing, and operations management functions.

 

Tim is dedicated to Servant Leadership and he has a passion for developing people and providing outstanding customer service.

 

Tim and his wife are also involved in various community outreach and volunteer programs at their local church, Cornerstone.  Tim and his wife enjoy spending time watching their two sons compete in various sporting activities.  Tim also enjoys fishing, hunting and playing golf with his friends and family.

He holds a Bachelor of Science degree with an emphasis in Commerce/Marketing from Santa Clara University
